Pastor Barlow, a native of Woodville, Texas, holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Texas Southern University. He taught in the business/ accounting department at TSU for 12 years. Pastor Barlow is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Houston Chapter of Certified Public Accountants.

 

 For over 18 years, Reverend Barlow has served as board president of Kids Plus Academy, a premier early childcare center in Northeast Houston. He also serves as Advisory Board President of Autumn Place Housing Development Organization, Inc. and is a board member for the Texas Women’s Empowerment Foundation, Inc.

 

He holds an associate degree from Southern Bible College and has received 33 hours toward a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary. Reverend Barlow began his pastorate at the Metropolitan Baptist Church in June 1981, where he pastored until October 1983. He was called to pastor the newly organized Greater Love Church on October 27, 1983, where he has faithfully served for twenty-seven years.

 

Pastor Barlow is happily married to Ramona A. (Prevot) Barlow. He has three biological children - Shebaun, Katrice, and Keishawna; one stepson - Kevin Iles (deceased); four foster children - Robert Jones, Fia, Christmas and Lord Pharaoh Henderson.
